Silver Sport Oil & Coolant Caps (996/986/997) SKU: SKU9X7CAPS

Was thrilled to switch out my new Oil filler cap and it looks great. Have not tried the Coolant cap yet, but love the silver Gas Cap. Noticed that it did not fit as snugly when fully tightened as the original (1999 996 C2 Cab) but still was smitten. Started the car and got a Check Engine light shortly thereafter. Cleared the code and put the old cap back on, restarted and drove for a half hour with no light...thinking it's a pressure leak in the cap? I was always told that the engine is a big "air pump" and seals are important to avoiding oxygen related and pressure related issues. Will ask suncoast about exchanging it unless they are all that way.
